Our application process consists of 3 components:

1. Online Application

Be sure to complete our free online application and select “Online” for your location.

2. High School Transcripts (Fewer than 24 college credit hours)

Our Admissions Committee will need your high school transcript showing proof of graduation. If you hold a General Education Diploma, a copy of your GED certificate and official transcripts of all high school work.

To be eligible for admission to Coker University, freshman applicants who have graduated from high school within the past five years are required to have completed the following courses in high school: four years of college preparatory English; three years of mathematics that include Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II; three years of lab science; three years of social or behavioral science; and two years of foreign language. Students who have not completed these courses may be admitted at the discretion of the Director of Admissions.

3. Official Transcripts (if you have previous college experience)

Our Admissions committee will need official transcripts from all Colleges/Universities you have attended. We are more than happy to help request these on your behalf! Please complete our secure, cloud based document here. We ask that our prospective students have a minimum GPA*. If your GPA falls below a 2.5, our Admissions Committee may reach out to you for additional references to support your application.

*Grade Point Average Guideline:

A 2.00 GPA in 30 or more transferable hours of college-level credit;
A 2.50 GPA in 20 – 29 transferable hours of college-level credit;
A 2.75 GPA in 12 – 19 transferable hours of college-level credit
